Hi, I want to totally customize the codoforum's UI I've copied the default folder in themes and renamed it for making changes.How do I see the changes made by me on the forum. How to select the theme I've created.

Please add more detailed docs on customizing the UI of the forum.

Firstly I would like to thank you for this software, it's easy to install and great to use.

I have 2 problems and I would be happy if you could help me with those. I attached an image.

1) Closely related to the second problem. Post excerpt broke my word in half and used and generated/changed the next (special) character to a html code (?) &aacu. The next letter would have been an "á", but that would still not been the end of the word.

2) The post excerpt brakes words and instead of ending a post's short version on my home screen at the end of a word or a sentence it breaks a word at the limit. Here only the first character of a word is displayed.

My bigger problem would be the converting of a letter as I see that posts break in a similar way here on the official forum.

I created a new category for my website yesterday, which I recently started using Codoforum on (Which, by the way, I am loving).

I have encountered a bug though, and it's manageable so don't consider this a high priority one unless you deem it so.

When I created a new category, I uploaded a 420x420 image (.png format) to go with it, however when the category showed up, there was no image. When I started looking at the files the image was just blank. If I move the original image in to the sites\default\assets\img\cats folder and rename it to the assigned name that the ACP gave it, then it works fine, so it seems that somewhere between the image being uploaded and it being resized, renamed and its data going in the DB, the image data is being lost.

If there's any more information I can get for you to assist with this, please feel free to let me know.

I have set admin email in global settings as i wanted.
The mail configuration is "mail()"

I am fan of your forum script, because its easy to install and easy to change the code as per my requirements.

I have 2 questions..

1. I want to receive every single notification when new post submitted (I don't have spam problem because only my customers able to login and submit post, and also post are not visible to public).

2. Is there a way to block user from register using some usernames, because some of my clients use product name or the support/admin/root/mod etc. username to register and i had to manually change it and mail to them to notify its against the policy.

Messaging other users needs to be more obvious, when you click profile of a person its not visible on mobile view...maybe even have a message button right next to reply button ( this would increase user engagement).
Also option to or not notify by email...

My forum uses Sinhalese language in Unicode format, sometimes in title too. I have used beautified urls.

Ex: http://example.com/topic/2/මගේ-ෆෝරම්-එක

The problem is whenever I try to click a link generated(with Sinhalese Unicode text) it gives me 404 error.

I have two questions:

1. Can I remove safe_title from templates and core? Is there a way to do that? If so will it be affected to latest reply urls?
2. Is there another way to fix this issue?

PS: I'm sorry I cannot replicate the issue as the project is still in my local server. You can try to create the following title for a topic and see how it goes.

UPDATE: I found that the error is specially with these two characters: "ළ-"

Bug in role permissions Codoforum

Hello there I am trying to figure out how to change the topic text color.

Now I know in color.less you can change the white background by searching for

@bg: #fff;

This does change the topic background but it also changes the navigation menu's background color at the top. For my circumstance this is not a issue but I would like to know as reference if it is possible to have the navigation at top a different color from the topic background.

What I am trying to find out which my current problem is where do I find the code to change the topic text color? I would like to change it from black to white. My second question afterwards is where "Username Posted Date" is that a different color code or the same as my first question?

I'm noticing that my forum (www.roostersforum.com - for an example of this behaviour, not a plug for it) no longer sorts posts based on what was posted most recently. Therefore, discussion gets buried.

Any tips on how to fix this?
