We have released a new version of 3.7.1 with following changes

We have also upgraded this forum to the latest version.

I have tried and can't figured out what is the problem is about. After successful authorization my forum redirects to this link :

Then I am getting a message like:

User profile request failed. Most likely the user is not connected to the provider and he should to authenticate again.

and, on the next line it shows an error message like:

I have trouble with mails sent by cron, as 9/10 time, mail is sent when the destination user log on
i set mail_notify_send to 90s, but, is there a way to run cron externally ( with a php call, by exemple or with CLI) ?

A customer of mine wants a poll on his forum. I saw that a poll is on the roadmap for Codo, but it has been for a while. I was wondering if I should wait, or if I should use a third party tool. Of course I prefer the first, but the delivery of the complete site and forum is in a month. Is there any ETA for this feature?

I have created a free opensource marketing platform that includes friends lists, profiles, block lists, etc. One of the key aspects of the platform is to have an instant messenger that friends can use to converse back and forth.

Your software does a great job of this and we would like to be able to release our free opensource software with an unbranded copy of the free version of the friechat software. Realistically we have searched, yours has every feature one could want so why would we want to recreate the wheel.

We would include in our setup instructions that for a full featured social IM, users should consider upgrading friechat, however we specifically are asking permission to distribute unbranded copies of friechat with our software.

Now, I have read through the forums and I know the typical reply is "you are not allowed to distribute our software nor are you allowed to branch it as it is against the terms of the license, which is not opensource". This is why I tried to contact privately about this issue before bringing it to the forums, because that answer is not entirely true.

I would much rather work with codologic on this and have their permission to release the free version of friechat within our opensource platform, but if that is not an option, what is an option is branching friechat.... not in its existing form, but the copies released up until 2013 when the license was changed from GPL to private.... however anyone with those original GPL licensed copies (or anyone who can find them).... under the terms of the GPL they CAN in fact branch the project.

Granted a lot has changed in 4 years, but its still a nice starting place to branch a project from.

Again I would much rather this not be a public issue. I would prefer to discuss this privately and work with friechat on some reasonable solution allowing us to distribute. So please do reach out to me by email and lets talk.

I am trying to use SSO plugin. I can see Codoforum calling my login,logou, register.php files, but at any point its calling client.php?

When Codoforum should call this file?

Hi guys. I was just looking at the DB structure, and I noticed, whenever there's an INT primary key, it's UNSIGNED, but whenever there's a foreign key, it's not UNSIGNED. For example, codo_posts.topic_id and codo_topics.topic_id.

Also, why is cat_id in codo_topics SMALLINT instead of INT? Is it not a foreign key into codo_categories?

Anyway, it would be more correct if the keys corresponded, so, I guess they can all be INT UNSIGNED.

While installation of Codoforum was successful, I am not able to use or login in the forum as I get the following error every time I register or try to do anything with the forum:

there is a problem when displaying search result. first post is ok, but others are displayed without/broken theme.

Hi, i would like the topic list to show in full instead of having to click on the "all topics" to display them when the visitor comes to the site and when the home button is clicked. I mean only for mobile version because in mobile version they do not appear automatically if you don't touch them.

This would make the categories show and make it easier for the visitor to navigate and to me would make the the first impression much nicer.

I'm trying to install Codoforum on my server and I'm getting this error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/cre8tiv1/public_html/justin/forum/install/load.php on line 7

Now my server is running PHP 5.4.45 so it should work. I have looked at that line and nothing seems to be wrong but i could be mistaken.

Any help would be great.

We have built a software web-portal (POS system) in PHP language.
Which is working fine when online.
But when the internet goes down in the stores, the software stops completely and the managers are not able to make bills till the time internet is live again!

Hence we want to build an offline module, which involves local server setup (wamp or easy-PHP)and deploying the code offline on the local machine/PC
The problem we are facing is syncing the offline and online MySQL databases.
Moreover, there are 6 different stores which will be running the offline billing module hence the problem increase here.

We want to build a program that can sync both the database offline and online periodically and when the internet goes down and resumes for 6 different stores.

Don't know whether this plan is good or not. If not then need guidance on how to crack/tackle this problem!

We have used HTML, CSS for design and display, javascript and jquery for client side and PHP for server side programming. We have also used ajax.

I've just upgraded my forum to version 3.7 and I can't really mention (tag) anyone just the way it used to be previously... it was one of the best forum's features and removing that I think it's not good!

Hello, users on my forum have this error:

This topic is marked as spam and is hidden from public view.
when they are trying to post new topic.

How to fix this?

1. The first question in about the colour of the bell notifications the red I want to be different colour instead of little circled red one here...

2. After clicking on the notifications bell, I have the notifications but then suddenly they get disappeared how can I fix this? In the way notifications to stay just like here in codoforum... here you can see how it looks like after clicking for the second time.

3. I want to change the style or let's say ICONS for Reputation points, how can I do this? Because I think instead of plus and minus there should be introduced new VOTING icons which will make our forums a more beautiful environment also it will encourage more users to post.
The problem is not only this, but it gets disappeared if you don't focus your mouse in the reputation area... here you can see on the attachmen... ( so I want to edit these styles)

I want to add a header graphic to my site above the topics
I have added some html in block region "block_head"
but the graphic sits partially under the top bar (the very top one showing the links & login etc)

how can I place it or edit the html to keep the graphic from under there?
