Suggestion for translations:

In our system we already use it with success for years:

Each text that appears on the front end, is in our php program, a reference to a language text file that was selected when the user log in.

It would make it possible to each user, at the same time, see the chat/forum in his preferred language, just selecting it at log in.

Example:

1-) In our php file: <p>< =GLOBAL_BTN_PRINTDETAILS;?></p>

A) If the user select English at log in, it will refer to

define('GLOBAL_BTN_PRINTDETAILS', 'Details';

At the front end it will show as Details

B) If Brazilian Portuguese is selected, it will refer to:

define('GLOBAL_BTN_PRINTDETAILS', 'Detalhes';

At the front end it will show as Detalhes

C) If Italian is selected:

define('GLOBAL_BTN_PRINTDETAILS', 'Dettagli';

At the front end it will show as Dettagli

Each language is at a separated file (en.php, it.php, br.php, and others).

It makes it easy to translate and add different languages.

A few months ago I gave you FTP access to our system,when you kindly provided the installation of Platinum Freichat. The connection is still working, just in case you want to take another look on how we solved this problem.

if you want to develop this in Freichat and/or Codoforum, I would gladly contribute with translation for Portuguese.

I have a problem wit the language setting in freichat 10. In the backend i had done german language. In my database is language german, but on my website is freichat only in english. What must i do for freichat in german?

I have found it.
In the arg.php is: $this->lang = 'chinese';
I have change it to: $this->lang = $parameters['lang'];

And all ist fine.

When a " guest" hits my site (and your demo) they show up twice in the user-list initially. After some time the duplicate goes away but still an annoying glitch. I have also noticed that a guest will have the same name but with a "Guest-1pb24" for example. 24 appended to it, which is still the same user as "Guest-1pb" Is this a known bug or something?

And ' possible to eliminate the Chat View is displayed in the lower left corner and just leave the key chat ?

I am having issue with Social Share buttons. I am using "Share This". The buttons were not showing properly, which Ihave discussed with Developer.

They have sent me this screenshot with error pointing out in CSS.

Please let me know where to edit in CodoForum CSS.

At normal page font, it is little bit too small for me. How can I expand larger font?

Last suggestion of the day for me :

during a post edit, an automatic increase number would be practical when using numeric list button instead only "1.". The increase will be only for consecutive items.

In order the user frontend looks the more simple as possible, maybe you can hide by default the settings "Notification level", "Hide topic messages" and "Enable infinite scrolling".

A button with by example an gear icon allow to show these settings by expanding the left panel. It saves place at the screen.

The more important for the user is to have the finder tool, the name, the icon and the short description of the topic and some statistics data.

Else, another solution can be to hide only the "Notification level" and the "Enable infinite scrolling" because the "Hide topic messages" can be usefull in direct access.

After inserting a quotes block, it misses a jump to a newline, especially by using the quotes button beside the reply button.

I installed free chat and set the German language in the backend.
But the chat is still running in English.
What am I doing wrong?

I use easyPHP 5.4.6 and the first time i have installed the forum, i got the Fatal error undefined function openssl_random_pseudo_bytes. By default, easyPHP has the extension OpenSSL disabled. This can be wise to alert the beginners to enable OpenSSL in your doc and during the installation process.

After loading an avatar, the preview show the picture with an incorrect ratio size :

The error is just for the preview.

I've a buying page at this page in wich i've a youtube conference in a iframe and buying buttons wich are loading in ajax at the bottom. When i activate freichat on the page on this demo page i'm getting this error :

hie guys, im loving freichat but when i try to send my chat history via email it gives me this 'SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? (1312292512)

I have installed your great software in my local xampp , I can't use UTF8 Characters in the "category name", when I use a completely Utf8 name like "آزمایش سرفصل" I can see the name and Icon in front page of site but I get this URL:

http://localhost/codoforum/index.php?u=/category/

and when I click it nothing happen,

when I use "test category" as the name of category, everything is ok and I get this URL :

http://localhost/codoforum/index.php?u=/category/test-category
