Is it possible for me to change the font in the article ONLY, but leave the rest of the site unchanged?

First off, let me thank Adesh for his excellent help, and installing Friechat on my site properly, which I was unable to do... Excellent customer service!

Now, the only thing I have left to do, is integrate the login of codoforum and Freichat with my social media login and user/friend system.

I have the money, and willing to pay to have that worked out for me...

I'm new to PHP, so the SSO codoforum client.php just confuses me, along with the Freichat integration.

I'm not sure how to make the session...

I have the plugin installed correctly and codoforum's login/logout and register links correctly link to my social media's login page, but I have not been able to figure out the client.php session.

Words 'All Topics' -- above the category list -- is a bit confusing to users. Better would be to read 'Categories'

The message 'No topics found matching your criteria!' appears on front page after topics (even if no search made). Perhaps change to 'End of Topics' instead.

Yesterday, I purchased the corporate version of Freichat, but have not been unable to get it to work on my site after many attempts, plus I cannot get the single sign up to work with my site and codoforum, so I'm just going with a different platform.

I have only two categories. Since deleting a post yesterday, one of the categories is not working. It shows no posts in it.

I have tried making a new post. I can see the post on my user profile, but the category still says there are no posts.

The other category I have IS working, and if I move my post there, it can be seen in that category.

Please help.

I am trying to create a simple and 'idiot-proof' discussion area where writers can share their work and give one another feedback. Many users will have little skill with computers and mainly use Facebook. Features that most interest me are:

• clear layout
• formatting text
• easy sign-up and login
• ease of finding new posts
• bug-free and simple experience

Does anyone know the variable in /sites/default/themes/MY_THEME/less/colors.less to set the colour for <h1> text?

For my forum, no topics are visible for logged out users. So it looks strange to have buttons for topic settings. It might be good to hide them for logged out visitors.

For users less familiar with forums, I think it should be made easier to open a post.

Rather than just having the post title as a hyperlink, how about using the entire title bar? Or even the previewed body of the post itself?

Intuitively, I feel there is a slight barrier for a novice reader in having to locate a small link when trying to open the post to make a reply.

first let me apologize for creating a new thread , because i have already created a thread about this problem. what i have here is just a temporarily solution, until the codologic team will finally and hopefully resolve the problem in the next update.

Today i tried uploading a photo in a post i was creating today, and i got this

so i saw that the path the picture is to be served from is not showing up, i have to login to my C-panel and go to the domain folder i installed Codoforum on and collect the image path, after collecting the image path, i now came back to the post i was creating and inserted the path as a link and the photo rendered in the preview section

I was able to do this just because i can log in to my c-panel, what about my users that can log into the c-panel

I am seeking your help as I have installed the codoforum and now enjoy playing with it. Unfortunately, I experience some issues with when attaching pictures to a post. I can see the pics in the preview but as soon I submit the post the pics are visible only as name.jpg. The same apples to the emote icons.

I can check on my CentOS server the pics are uploaded and available on the file system.

Could you please give me a hand with this?

I cannot post new topics. 'Create Topic' field has no action. Using menu bar option to create a topic does open the editor, but there is no live preview and to click 'post' results in 'page does not exist' error.

'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons also have no effect.

The site worked this morning but not now. All I have done today is try to enable Twitter login, and uploaded some Smiley pngs.

Are there a option to use tapatalk?

When I installed codoforum I would click a button in my new forum then it would come up as "you are forbidden" from my server. My website was shut down because of it. Any ideas why it happenen(somthing to do with Codoforum)

Steps I have done so far

1. Downloaded Freichat module and placed in sites/all/modules/
2. Completed the installation successfully as per guide.
3. Now chat is working perfectly but its visible in all pages. I want to restrict the chat visibility to required pages only.

so when i upload an image from my iPhone onto a forum post on my site...it appears upside down. why is this happening and how can i correct this? thanks!

I have two issues. I will deal with the easy one first.

Problem 1

My custom setup is using the gravatar system to obtain member images as opposed to storing them in the database. Unfortunately, although you have integrated your default system with gravatar, you don't connect it to the members email column in the database and return gravatar images by default. Instead its either - connect to a database that stores user images, or use random gravatars.

So what I want to know is how can I pass an email variable to server/freichat.php so we can correctly call the images. I have tried with my limited php knowledge to call the database directly from freichat.php but it seems doing so, causes the script to stop working (simple mysql_query statement).

So that is problem one.

Problem 2:

Problem two is more complex, because I am not sure how easily your system can integrate with what I have. I want to integrate the chat with our custom friend list. The friend list uses the following table setup:

username, friendname, friend-status

username is matched to $_SESSION[user] and if the friend-status is 2 the users are connected as friends, 1 and 0 are pending statuses.

$_SESSION[user] is not the same as $_SESSION[userid] wihich $ses is set to.

So I am not sure how to go about making this work... if I can at all.

Okay so friend integration,

I have a table called social_friend
It has 3 colums:

username - friendname - friend_status

A typical call looks something like:

SELECT friendname FROM social_friend WHERE username = $_SESSION[user] AND friend_status='2'

Now keeping in mind I have a JOIN statement already going on for the avatars, it seems 2 JOIN's are needed on the get_buddies function.

I am obviously not very good at this because my attempts, fail:

Freichat was installed onto my website and now things are not working correctly. Some areas of the website are not clickable anymore and the forum is completely unusable. I don't know if it's something to do with the coding process or integration with Dolphin or if there's something wrong with Dolphin now, lol. At any rate, I'm having all sorts of problems now.

Also, sometimes the chat loads when the home page is clicked and sometimes it doesn't. There are several "guests" logged into the chat that I have no idea where they are coming from. They are just coming and going and coming and going. I only want to set it up to be usable by my registered users... However, if I choose that setting in administration, the entire Freichat goes down and doesn't come on at all.

At any rate, if you have any ideas as to what you think the problems are stemming from, please let me know. Many thanks!
