I'm installing codoforum now, just put all the files in the "codoforum" folder into my public_html folder, but I dont know if it will work because last time it didn't

Can someone help me out on why i could not send reply or reply to posts from my BlackBerry-Z3.
It does not respond any time i click the reply button.

I have been using codoforum (version 4.3) for some months without any problem but, suddenly is not posible to post "big text post" or reply them.
Some time also apears "SPAM" alert... but there's no option to control this "spam" inside the admin panel.

If I write a simple post (a word in the title or message there's no problema, but If the message is a lo long test (about 10 ou 12 lines) the message seems to be published but when you access into the correspondent category the message isn't there or in another place...

If I change the status value in this topics into the database are showing but there's no way to answer on post because are detected as SPAM

Any idea how to solve it??

I love the script except for one thing: How do I edit the Link dropdown menu in the upper right? It appears to contain several dummy links. Thanks!

I bought the Corporate version of freichat, i did a custom installation.

I want to make a small modification, I hope you can help me.

My users are divided into groups, in the users table I have: Id, Username, Group (1 or 3)
Only two group type (1 or 3)

My intention is... Group 1 can chat with everyone is online, but Group 3 only can chat with Group 1.
For Group 3 only visible online group 1 people.

And modify the style, maybe a different background color on the panel of active users for each group.

How can I do?

I configure the Facebook APP and when i REGISTER an user with FACEBOOK all works well.
When try to LOGIN with facebook i get an URI blocked message and an error.

I just installed freichat onto my site and by default it puts all the chat sections in the very bottom right of my screen, for the users online and what not. I need to add a bit of a margin on the right to shift all the boxes to the left by 75px. Anyone know which files that is in?

My site's forums I dowloaded codoforum to. I set the title, but I cannot set the favicon to my site's favicon. How do I do this?

There are several editors available, but none come with direct upload, you have to use plugin, but i think it should be built in.

Hey, I just discovered codoforum, it seems great and looks fine!

I'm interested in using it but I'd need to integrate it in some "special" ways and I don't know where to start.

At the moment I have a website with a few pages, a custom login/register form, and a page that lets visitors post offers, with an optional picture.

I guess I'll definitely forget about my login/register form for ease of integration, just customizing coforum's.

Now I'd need to be able to auto post from mywebsite.com/post.php (thats called from some ajax) to mywebsite.com/codoforum, or maybe use needed include lines in my html, to show codoforum's post form on my main pages, even like iframing ?

I guess I'll see how it integrates with picture uploading to decide if I keep my posts database or if I can merge then adding some columns.

EDIT: Forget everything else for a second, I just realized the latest version, listed on the download page, is over a year old. Is it safe to assume this forum software has basically been abandoned?

When trying to create a new category:

There is also no way to select an existing category image on the server. You instead either have to download the image to your computer and select it for the category to be uploaded again, or choose a new image all together. A way to choose an existing category image already on the server would be great.

Aaaand while making this edit and then saving it, I was redirected to a page that said

Update on the error associated with my install: the problem was a result of not having permissions set for writing, however this line in of itself was causing an error on top of that error
Log::error("Upload directory not writable";

I have a new issue though: whenever I try to use my own images for categories instead of re-uploading the ones codo came with, I end up with a blank uploaded image and icon. I even tried changing the size of the image to 420x420 before uploading (under the assumption it would shrink the image if too large), but that didn't change the issue. I was able to manually upload my image in place of the image uploading through the site, however having to replace the image and icon every time I want to add one seems a bit counter productive.

^ Continuing on with that, while uploading a PNG results in a completely blank image and icon, uploading a SVG sort of works. The image and icon load, however they either fail to resize or incorrectly resize.

The default profile icon on the bar that follows the page at the top seems to be a broken link. I'm not sure if it only applies to when you setup the admin account or if it's accounts created through the registration form too.

Not a bug but when changing your avatar, the existing image and icon should be deleted from the already saved image name before updating it to the new image name.

Searching with nothing typed in results in an infinite searching image until you refresh the page, instead of of not triggering a search when the search text field is empty.

Also I'd like to note that page views mean nothing when you can just refresh the page as many times as you'd like for whatever number you want. I really like the concept of how this forum software works, but it's quickly looking like it isn't remotely ready to be used for much of anything.

if you use facebook API do registration, you have ugly names in profile view, like "Name_ka-Surname".

To do it better, I edited line 66 in sites/default/themes/default/templates/user/profile/view.tpl:

and change:

to

This might seem like a weird idea but i have a website setup that has codofourm setup in a different directory,

on my index page i have little side bar boxed that show specific info and want to make one that would enable me to login to the forum and use it's DB, after login it will show the users profile pic and post info and such.

is there a way that i can do this i have tried a few way of doing this but am getting no where with it and have searched google but feel this would be the best place to come.
