Hi,

I am evaluating the forum software and have created a theme, copying the default one so I have all files.

I have made a small change to general.less and understand that codoforum re-compiles this into the cache css file. Using Filezilla, I can see that I have newer cache files, but when I look at my site, it is still using an old cache css from yesterday.

I have tried refreshing cache in the browser, but still old css is being used.

How does the software detect and use a newer css file?

Tried to press the upgrade button. Nothing happens. Used the manual upgrade url. Nothing happens. Checked the 4.1 download and the readme is pretty sparse. I love the confidence you have in your product but I would still like to know how to upgrade my forum from FTP also. Thanks.

i having a problem with the category permalinks in v3, I have 3 main category for my product and each category has sub category for "bug report"

I have put all 3 name sub category name as "bug report" but somehow the problem is that all 3 category has the same permalink http://example.com/category/bug-report

which is causing problem and unable to separate the post, is there a way to fix it, because from admin panel i can't change the permalink, change the name of category won't help.

do i have to edit from database or is there another way to fix it? if there is another solution please put a link here because i can't find any solution for this problem in forum.

I get this error - checked the PHP version and it is higher than required. Is this some thing to do with htaccess - where are the detailed install instructions please.

• can I use my own domain?
• can I use my own hosting or do I have to use yours?
• where are your hosting company's servers located and will it be fast for people from other continents (America, Europe, Austalia, Asia)?
• does your host allow adult / erotic content if it is legal in Europe?
• if I use your hosting, can I download backups of my forum from cPanel into my PC?
• if I already have a free version of CODOforum (hosted by another hosting company), will you migrate it to your hosting?
• will you do the upgrades for my forum for 2 years? Actually do the upgrades yourselves, not just tell me how to do them?
• are there any bandwidth and space limits on your hosting plan?
• does your host have DDoS protection?
• if my forum gets DDoSed, can your host mitigate the attack?
• if after two years I want to move my forum to another hosting company, can I migrate it through cPanel?

Whenever a user tries to register or login to my website forum, the urls show as:

http://localhost/page/user/lot

and

http://localhost/page/user?codoforum=sso

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to use the codoforum plugin to allow users to have a common login to the joomla and codoforum sites. Starting off running things locally.

I installed the plugin package into Joomla and created menu options for (the URLs are using the menu option names)

• the component to use for "SSO Get User Path" value

     http://joomla.local/index.php/codoforum
  

• login for "SSO Login User Path"

    http://joomla.local/index.php/codoforum-login
  

• logout for "SSO Logout User Path"

    http://joomla.local/index.php/codoforum-logout
  

• registration for "SSO Register User Path"

For the joomla component, I created a client ID string and secret code that I added to the codoforum plugin (along with the URLs from the previous step).

Now if I click the login link in codoforum, it sends me to the joomla site login page (so that's good). But after logging in, I stay on Joomla (which isn't a surprise). When I go back to codoforum, it doesn't have me logged in.

And if I go to the get user path URL (which is the joomla component), I get an empty page.

And the URL to my local codoforum installation is:

• http://codoforum.local

What am I doing wrong?

I have gotten into a situation where I would like to use this software within my website but due to a limitation of my website, I am unable to use SSO. I have however, figured out how the cookies and databases work between the websites and I was wondering if it was possible to use the cookie from the main website and allow codoforum to accept the login without having to make a separate account. I know that codoforum and the software I use handle cookies somewhat similarly

EDIT: The cookies contain a unique code for the user logged in in a similar way to codoforum and can easily be checked with the database to retrieve the user's information

While I can use SQL to edit the values read and written, I'm not sure what files to edit to allow this instant logging in and what outside of the users table I would maybe need to change to ensure that nothing will break.

I am testing and loving the script. Is there a way of using linux cron jobs for more control on when the cron jobs can run. The cron jobs on the admin panel don't seem to be working or they want to manually run.

Installed CodoForum on CentOS7, php 5.4+, mariadb, Apache 2.4. Installation went well. I can get to the back-end but I can't get to the front-end. I can't Edit Cron Jobs because of the same error.

Another Problem is that SMTP doesn't seem to be working. I have a local SMTP server I always use for development and it works with other scripts but CodoForum.

Seeing as the YouTube app is getting bottom tab navigation to ease mobile phone use mostly of thumbs...do think bottom navigation would suit/aid Codoforum?
