I got this problem when installing freichat

I am new to Joomla so I may have something wrong. I have added Freichat to my site to deploy chat functionality. The installation went well but when I click the chatroom and attempt to chat, nothing appears in the chat text field. I am able to post images to the chat and smileys. If I enable JQuery Conflict removal, the chat function display. Also the chat rooms show 1 user in them but the pane that list the users online shows 0.

Any help would be appreciated.

I installed Freichat an it works all right in frontend.

When make admin changes tot "client side configuration", most parameters don't get saved when i click "save changes".

First 3 options i can change and save, but the others (e.g. group id's, show link ....) i just cannot change. As soon als i click save, they get reset to standard setting.

Anyone?

Thanks for the update on the awaited update release which you state is now due in January. However, could you let me know if the video conference (as is) actually works using Firefox web browser as I can not seem to get it to work? I know you stated originally that MS Edge is out of the question but correct me if I am wrong, I recall you mentioning it works on both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox!

If you could let me know that would be appreciated.

As it is now December (the last indicated release period you mentioned sometime back) can we get an update on the expected "update" to the Video Chat application? Is it near ready yet and when do you expect to have the update available for us to download?

Finally I shall open a ticket as have not been able to ever get the video conference to work on the firefox browser so best I notify you of this.

My code is working on live server. but same code when i run into localhost then my php response showing 500 error in android logcart

Although the video chat somewhat now works since you sent me the code to include on more detailed use (that is where someone types in more than just 5-10 lines of text you will find that the Chat stops working. That is to say the text neither scrolls up allowing room for new text to be added at the bottom nor does it even allow you to "enter" text. As if it has a 5 line maximum entry. This sort of chat typing input behavior is not ideal for a chatroom as users should be able to type more than 5-10 lines of text during a video conversation.

If you could take a look at this (you have the login details as I have not changed them)

Also, I did earlier ask when are you roughly expecting to have the "update" for the video chat ready but somehow I did not get any response on that question from you. If you could let me know that would be appreciated.

Pardon the slight delayed feedback as very busy. The Chat on the video is now working after I inserted the missing code provided by you. thanks for that.

That said may I ask when are we expecting the "upgrade" you promised was in progress? Also I did ask in a separate ticket but how can I change/include my own audio clips as when you are sent a video request it is hardly audible or alerting (that is somehow it does not properly alert the end user that a request has been sent unless they are paying extra attention or expecting a request as the audio needs to stand out). If possible in your upgrade why not include a "Flashing/blinking" window as the chat window could blink.

Finally, when you have a lot of chats the chat window (the normal chat window I mean) gets cluttered and it is very hard to read the chat messages is there no way to increase the window size?

although they are taken back in the backend and displayed with their ID. It will look like that.

on the original page at strato, where the page is still working without problems. as can be seen in the other picture.
