There is a wierd space at the top of the page, but only when somone else is online in the chat. It creates an avatar sized space at the top for each member, so if more people were online, that gap would become huge. Any idea what might be the cause of/solution to this?

Where have you pasted the FreiChatX installatin code.

Make sure its right before the close head tag

Also , the new version that is going to be release will not need template editing/copy-pasting
So if the problem is because of your template , then the new version will solve the issue.

well the tag is in the right place, so if it is because of the template, how long might i be expecting to wait for the new version?

And if you have any other ideas, I would be happy to look into them.

This idea is implemented in the new version , but if you can't wait ,
I can give you the steps to install it without the template.

But i would recommend you to wait a little longer.

i realize you probably dont have an exact date for realease, and its not too big of a deal right now, with very few users on the site, but as it is growing daily, this is becoming more of an issue. If it gets too crazy i might opt to disable it temporarily, but the chat is a big part of what im trying to accomplish here, and therefore would very hesitantly disable it.

So with that said, i respect your opinion and your recomendation, so how much longer might i be be expecting to wait? (please note that i am not trying to be pushy and greatly appreciate your efforts in designing this)

I know the 5.0 version has taken almost a month , but due to a problem we are unable
to release it yet .
