Codoforum image proxy or how to prevent mixed content?

How do you guys prevent mixed content (images from http)?

The only way to prevent mixed content is to download all the external images to your own server.

While creating a topic, we can make codoforum do that, but the problem is license issues.
Not all websites will allow you to freely download their images without permission.

Necessity is the mother of all inventions!

Imagehoster do the same. If someone is upset about this, he contacts the hoster/webmaster to delete the content, end. Big Bords like Xenforo, MyBB, phpBB, WoltLab, IPS have plugins for this too. Would be nice to have something like that too for codoforum. Until then I say my users they should use imagehoster which supports https.
