Hi Everyone,
I am a real beginner to this. I have downloaded an uploaded CodoForum to my (free) 000webhost account. Now I don't know what to do, the documentation says:
"Visit the location in your web browser and follow the instructions in the installer."
But I have no idea how to do this. If someone could give me some REALLY basic instructions (how to access and set up the forum) that would be really great.

Your (free) webspace will have an address, eg http://YOURUSERNAME.FREESITE.com. You should be told that when you sign up.

I don't know what kind of service you have. Some providers give you a folder called something like public_html. This will be http://YOURSITE.com/ folder, i.e. the topmost location on your site.

Wherever your service puts this 'root' folder, copy everything from the codoforum folder into that, using the control panel you get when you log in to your free account, which will include the 'install' folder for Codoforum.

Visit the free address you have been given, by writing it into the address bar of a browser and hitting enter -- it should automatically be equal to the top-level folder where you put the files.

I did what you said, and it worked, partially. I am getting this error:
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/MYUSERNAME/public_html/sys/load.php on line 7"

Does this mean I need to edit something on 'line 7'?

Codoforum requires PHP 5.4 or newer. 000webhost looks like PHP 5.3.

No, it doesn't. Not even paid hosts will offer you such a sweet deal.

Those free hosting which say that they offer unlimited space and bandwidth always have their terms and conditions.

Just look for a host that offer PHP 5.4 or greater.
