Solution To Photo Upload Problem

first let me apologize for creating a new thread , because i have already created a thread about this problem. what i have here is just a temporarily solution, until the codologic team will finally and hopefully resolve the problem in the next update.

Today i tried uploading a photo in a post i was creating today, and i got this

so i saw that the path the picture is to be served from is not showing up, i have to login to my C-panel and go to the domain folder i installed Codoforum on and collect the image path, after collecting the image path, i now came back to the post i was creating and inserted the path as a link and the photo rendered in the preview section

I was able to do this just because i can log in to my c-panel, what about my users that can log into the c-panel

Please @adesh1414127033 @adesh @nguoianphu let me know if there is anything i can do, or edit something some where to be able to upload the picture and not log in to my c-panel to get the image page and inserting it as a link

@stephen2015 , do you have the team's confirmation it's a bug and will be resolved in next version? They I still have the same issue but your workaround does not solve it for the end users smile

The team askes me to move the hosting but how could I know if it's going to work ...

What you did there manually is what codoforum does automatically.

Can you try renaming the .htaccess file in codoforum directory to something else ?

Hi @stephen2015 ,

@adesh1414127033 fixed the issue with uploading images for me. I have described the solution in the topic I opened sometime ago:

http://codologic.com/forum/index.php?u=/topic/5087/issue-with-uploading-pictures-and-smilies

please try it as I believe it will work for you as well. If you experiencing issues with editing the html.php file please let me know I can provide you with the edited version which works!
