I was attempting to install the latest Freichat on Joomla 3.3.6 I had to trash the old module and even deleted the module from the folder on my site. I started a fresh installation which went smoothly until I installed mod_freichat_v7.zip which cannot be seen in my module list. It is there in the module folder but not seen in the Module manager.

What do I do here?

Thats strange.

Can you check if you can find the freichat module from Extension manager -> Manage ?
If you find it, uninstall it from there and try again
