I was was wondering if there will be the following features in the future releases of CodoForum:

Span class for groups throughout forum

I'm currently using span classes for names; span.class=hammy, then applying .hammy via css. I would recommend allowing for a span class via the ACP for groups.

Locking Topics

This would be to prevent new users from bumping old threads.

Edited Posts

If a post was edited by either admin or user, having an edited icon indicating the post had been edited.

System maintenance; Auto lock threads after X days AND/OR moving topic to an archives forum, etc.

Not all too sure what you're wanting to keep/have in the core of the script.

The features you mentioned have highest priority.

We already have added "Edited Posts" feature.

And the span class for user groups will be definitely added in the next version.

Locking with auto locking, moving will be included in the core.
We will implement them soon.

Few more:

Merging:

Posting more than once with no replies will merge text into the first post. This would combine everything into one post rather than having two posts.

Moderation:

Reporting

Post reporting with reasoning that will show in the moderation page. Include option to delete post or ban user.

User Profile

Ability to delete individual post from user profile

and

Delete all posts by user (would help with spam)
