I have just installed and enabled freichat on my phpBB board. When I access the site, the chat works but there is a small popup box on the left side with no contents. It will not go away when the "x" is clicked either. It there something wrong?

Yes, It is a blue transparent box on the bottom left. It is there no matter the theme.

Can you try disabling the chatroom in freichat backend?

The chat room feature is disabled for both guests and registered users. The box is still there.
