configuration changes don't get saved

Hi,
I have installed freichatx with joomla and everything seems to work alright except that it doesn't save configuration changes.
I think I have assigned the correct permissions (777) to arg.php.
Any advice?

you already know the solution, the permission 777 will do the trick :)

you forgot one more file called config.dat, make sure that file too has 777 as its permissions.
