Hi, I have just installed the latest FeiChatX 6.2.1 onto Joomla 1.5.24 with CB 1.7.1 everything went smoothly but no chat or notice of other members online.

I did download mod_freichatx.zip and installed it via.

I installed the 6.2 version but I was not able to see any chat bar or either community builder... downloaded the module but i can't find it on my module manager

I am installed FreiChatX on joomla 1.5.23 with CB 1.7 and doesn't appear chat propertly.

Neither file worked for me.

Reinstalling the Freichat module did the trick. I used the following file: http://code.google.com/p/freichatx-i/downloads/list

Then you need to be sure your database information is correct, I verified my freichat datables were available in my sql database, enable the module for any position in my joomla and works likle a charm...

This is oustanding extension, and it increidible that birlliant people share they knwoledge with any monetary interest, so please donate !!!!

I would like to uninstall and reinstall FreichatX, how do I uninstall it please?

uninstalling is as simple as removing the module/plugin if you have installed any and deleting the whole freichat folder.

Isn't a window supposed to appear on the bottom right? It does not.

Downloaded and installed mod_freichatx -
Admin set to users; server set to fast
phpMyAdmin shows frei_chat, frei_rooms, frei_sessions

What am I doing wrong?

I don't know what the problem is with 6.2.2 but 3.4.0 is working. Straight forward; no confusion or problem.

well 3.4.0 is pretty old and buggy and probably will take a lot of extra server resources as it isnt tuned enough.
I know installing the newer version is a pain, but it is worth the time, we also have a limited time free installation offer, you can use the "contact us" link if you are interested.
