Hi.

Setup:
- Joomla 1.5.23
- FreiChatX 4.6.3

Installation went fine and I selected my parameters.
But now what... how do I get to the chat. I tried reading every document and question here but that part is missing? How do I link a menu item to the chat session?

Freichat does not have an entry in my list of Joomla modules, components or plugins so I am at a complete loss as to how to move forward now.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

First, what Installation did you use: Manual or Automatic ?
If you have choiced "Manual", do you have downloaded the specific module "mod_freichatx-i.zip" and well installed it like an extension of Joomla, and finally "published" it at the same module location than your connexion module ? (all these points for "mod_freichatx-i.zip" realized in your admin of Joomla)

I did manual. I did not know about mod_freichatx-i.zip. where do I find it? I searched yoru site but do not see it.

I installed the module successfully and enabled it in Module Manager. I positioned it on the left side of my site but it does not show up on my website at all.

I forgot to notice you are using 4.x version, please download and install the latest version available.

Where do I find the latest version. The link you sent only had that 1 version for mod_freichatx.zip.

don't you see a "Download" link on the very top of this page.
The current version is 5.2.1

My apologies.. I thought you were referring to the 'mod' file.

Anyway, I installed the latest version and it made no difference. The module does not display on my site at all. The little window that used to display bottom right on my screen also disappeared when I installed the latest version.

Is there any other information I can give you regarding my setup or configuration that will help with troubleshooting this issue? This is very important to me so I would truly appreciate any help you may provide. Else I will have to try differrent software which I don't want to do as I have invested a lot of time into Freichat already.
