I'm new to Joomla

I installed Joomla 1.6.5 on localhost Wampserver. I have installed CB 1.4 in my Joomla 1.6.5

JCB installed folder => C:\wamp\www\tmp\freichat\installation

However i cannot proceed with below error:

File Permissions
arg.php is writable

configuration.php is not readable

Question:

1. Where is the configuration.php?
2. How to make the configuration.php writabe?

the freichat folder must reside where you index.php of joomla is located.
configuration.php is the configuration file used by joomla, so you will find it where you have installed joomla.

When you get that error, just correct the path(to the actual location of the file) shown in the input box and click modify.

Thank you for the first support. I managed to successfully install the FreiChatX 5.2.1
I had even download the module and enable it.
Connections are also enabled in Community Builder.

However the chat bar is still not showing at all. Is there anything I had missed out?

I will see if the installation has been made correctly or is it some other error .

sorry to jack the thread - but I experience similar problem. Install went fine. Mod installed etc. But Chat function only displays label and nothing else.
