Hello there!
I have a small problem with freichat 3.5 for cb. When receiving messages, the scroll bar moves up and therefore all new messages are hidden. I have to manually move the scroll bar down everytime I receive a message. I was wondering if you knew what could be the cause?

You are using a very old version which isn't supported anymore,
the current version is 5.2.1,
Please download and install the latest version, if you have any problem let us know!

So I got rid off freichat 3.5. I attempted to start using freichat 5.1.2 or 5.2 beta and is not working. I am able to install both of them but the chat module will not appear instead IE8 gives me the following error message:

I am using joomla 1.5.23. I uploded the files to my server with Filezilla ftp. My cpanel does not have an unzip function. I am using shared hosting. I run the debuging option and it says all everything uploaded fine.

As of right now I am using freichatx 5.1 alpha. It is working for the most part but I get IE8 error message that says: expected "]" on line 16. The chat module will not upload in first log in i have to refresh the page to see the chat module.

I only have front end problems; installation goes fine always.

please install 5.2.1 and try again!

I installed it again. This time I added the time zone Amrica/Los_Angeles; to both the files define.php and freichat.php. The module shows and it is working.

I still have some bugs though:

1- When i first log in the chat module will not show I have to refrs the page or go to a different menu link and the it will appear.

2- Also At first log in i get an error message in IE8 that says: Expected "]" in main.php. This will also go away after I refresh the page.

3- If i delete the status message " I am available" and leave it blank. The module will disappear when moving to a different menu link and an error message will come up:

Only when I completely close the browser the error message goes away and the modules comes up again.

So please help me fix this. Thank you for support and thanks for such a great module!

as for the first bug,
does your page gets redirected when you login or is it a ajax based login?
Ajax based logins are not supported.

Please send a link to your with 2 dummy accounts details using "Contact Us". Also mention the URL this topic.

Thanks a lot , after checking as per what you said , i found the bug.
It has a small fix ,

Just add the below line somewhere around line 100 .

$custom_mesg = 'I am available';

The file main.php already has that line. Right below the custom message arguments.

}
else{{
$custom_mesg =' i am available';
}
}

So as I said admin.php already has that line...is there any other file I should add this line to? Please let me know thanks.
