Hello reader,

I have installed Freichat together with Community Builder on Joomla.
Though, I have some issues:

Connections are enabled in Community Builder and I think Freichat is installed properly.
But, avatars do not show in Freichat?
Also, Freichat is showing every online (Registered) user, isn't it supposed to show friends/connections of the Community Builder? Or am I wrong?

How do I get avatars to show and (if possible) only show friends/connections of the Community Builder?

BTW: I do like this extension very much! Thanks alot to the finder and builders of this product.

Looks like I downloaded the wrong version of Freichat,
I now have downloaded the newest version of Freichat but I have some problems to install it..

I keep getting this error:

Warning: require_once(C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\jmla) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\jmla\freichat\installation\params.php on line 32

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\jmla' (include_path='.;C:\Program Files\xampp\php\PEAR') in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\jmla\freichat\installation\params.php on line 32

Make sure the following file has read permission

C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\jmla\configuration.php

The file should be readable/writeable,
though, I still have the same issue..

It sure is a permission problem , the error says it all .

Try giving the file ~/freichat/installation/params.php write permissions

Else , You can install it manually , without going through the installation process ,
but that would require a little file editing

My permissions should be okay..
Though, I've tried to install FreichatX to a free hosting service, that worked fine.
Now I am still having troubles on my system, wich files do I have to edit if I do it manually?
Or is there any guide on this website to follow step-by-step?

You can try and install the latest available version i.e FreiChatX 5.2.1

Hello - i also have the latest version installed with CB and the $driver='JCB'; is correct but it still show the default avatar even though it is enabled in the configuration. Any ideas?
