Codoforum Hosting Recommendation

Hi there,

I experience some bugs and problems, which occur specifically in dependence of the hoster (e.g. 1&1 or hostinger).

Do you have recommendations for a hoster which works fine with all functions of this buggy forum?

Greetz!

yeah we understand your situation, I too was in a similar situation 3-4 years back, jumping from host to host because none would work as expected smile

Sorry, but I cannot recommend a web(shared) hosting provider as we ourselves don't use any of them.

PS: we provide fully redundant virtual servers which have full flexibility if you are interested.

Hi adesh,

that's a pity, really!

I would be interested. Can you estimate how long you could provide it? And what are the conditions?

There are too much bugs, I tried about 5 different servers with 3 different PHP-Versions. Sometimes there are more bugs, sometimes less.

But the fact that adesh said none of the host he tested let codoforum work... Don't know what to say about this.

It looks fine and the usability is great (if it would work). But such a buggy forum is just senseless. I'll choose another one now.

We didn't say that at all.
We have tested codoforum in many free hosts and it works properly in them.

What I said was that shared hosts don't scale well and you have no guarantee over your data.

If you could tell us about the bugs, we could fix them.

I tried to report them, but there are still too much. I think this forum will just take some time and then it will be good. But it is not now.

Yes, that is fine.

But, can you atleast list all the bugs that you have found so that we can fix them ?
