An idea for the topics and how they are displayed.
This will make boards to be shown with different layouts. E.g blog, gallery, wiki and so on
I don't know if Im clear but this is very useful because some forums would need to have a Wiki, or articles/news section.
E.g you create a board named Wiki and in this board all the topics will have a Wiki look. Like you here http://codoforum.com/documentation/introduction many forums need a docs section, or an articles section. Or when you need a blog for your forum/site. With this you don't need to install a system for articles or Wiki, you use the Codoforum for this things. The functions of these (forums, Wikis, Blogs, Articles) are practically identical, they just look different (the first post is the article and the rest are comments of this), and with a function like this you give to one particular category/board and its topics a particular look that fits these needs.
Here you can find something in this direction https://github.com/Colby67/Protendo
It's a SMF fork with a lot of potential, but never realised. But the idea was great.
Btw, what are you using here http://codoforum.com/blog ?
