I installed Freichat and I'm able to access the backend. I installed the module, but the only thing displayed on the website is the module name, nothing else.

When I pressed ctrl+u then yes, freichat is displayed in the code.

I did not change the directory name or anything like that.

The chat itself works fine, but there are no alerts. No sounds, no popups like some websites do in chrome. once the user closes the chat window, by accident or on purpose, they can't find who they were talking to unless that person is still online and they remember the name. Without sounds if they are not watching for it a message could show up in another tab and they probably wont notice. Some users would also like to disable the chat, but I have no clue how to do that for individual users.

there is some messed up css in my chat room, i can't post any message!

I've been running Freichat 9.4 for some time with no problems. Upgraded and went through the install procedure. Users show up in Freichat backend.

The calls to relevant Freichat css and main.php are being sent and received. However, the main.php is blank - no code.

I've been through the permissions, checked hardcode.php, turned force JQuery to YES, turned off GZip compression as well.

My site uses Wordpress, W3Total Cache and CDN. I've turned off W3TC elements to check, Javascript and CSS minify is turned off for logged in users and also checked the CDN by turning that off for logged in users.

I've done your installiation by following the instructions multiple times, but it doesn't work on my website. each time i go to http://www.purity-network.net//freichat/installation/index.php it does nothing. I've followed the instructions properly, please help?

I have installed the newest version of Freichat in a Joomla! 2.5.14 version, but in the window's chat, don't load user list say some thing like "Loading User, list, querying data base".

Some Idea?

I have done all the setup for Freichat, but I have no idea on how to place Freichat on my pages. I would think I would have to set it's "Position" but I don't know which one to use.

In fact nothing is working, it does display beautifully but does not work, I have tried it on two different computers and I can't see no one online and when I create chat room other user cannot see the chat room
please help me.

Unintentionally changed in cPanel setup php to "use defaults". Now (do not know if so) the freichat does not work, does not even appear on the site. Have to do with this issue of php? What configuration of php that freichat need? The default configuration or some specific configuration?

I've successfully installed Freichat with no warnings or errors, and show all boxes in my website but chatroom is empty and i cant see other users.
I controled that with firebug . i have this (Language of my website is RTL ) error: 500 Internal server error

This is the session.php from my community where I have added Freichat. But users always be logged in as guest. The user session gives me the correct user id. I cannot find what is wrong.

Hello, I have a problem with the position of the CHATBOX on the right.
There is already my menu so you can't read the last menu-entry.

I have the chatrooms on the left, thats perfect (and I am able to change the postion from the chatroom in admin menu), but where can I change the position from the chatbox?
I would like to place it @the left like the chatrooms.

I already looked in freichat.js, but I don't know what to change.

I would also like to have the chatwindow always open!
Standard is hidden, so how can I change this to always open?

I 've installed Freichat v. 9.6 in Joomla! Everything works fine but i can't create or edit any theme in backend! Everything becomes scrambled! Is there a way to overcome it? I just want to adjust the size!

I just installed FreiChat on my Website. But I am wondering if the user has the possibility to filter the logged in users so he can quickly find the one he wants. The reason is that some on my users will have more than 1000 persons connected at the same time. I need to make sure that they can quickly filter than the person they need to chat with, without spend a lot of time looking through their long list of connected contact.
