FreiChatX 5.0 at last has been released after a long wait of one month .
It was not a easy task to solve so many bugs that were coming up , which was the main reason
for the delay.
No doubt this is a alpha version , but many bugs have been solved and new features
have been added.
Features Added :
1. Auto - Installation for Joomla , Drupal and Wordpress.
The quick installation has been removed . Now no more template editing and conflicts .
2. Combined query support.
Now two queries have been combined into one , leading to less server usage.
3. Smiley plugin has been added.
4. Save plugin has been added.
5. Added plugin for sending your conversation as mail
6. Support for Same Origin Policy
7. Backward compatibility for themes
8. Replaced Adodb_lite with the native PHP PDO abstraction layer
Improvements :
1. Improved HTML and CSS
2. Improved Jquery performance slightly.
3. Improved SQL query performance
EDIT : Also forgot to include, FreiChatX now prevents multiple instances of itself .

1. File upload security added.
