No new release for almost 2 years ...
I ask myself to renew or upgrade if this component is not upgraded given its price ...
Is an update scheduled?

Yes, we have not given time to develop freichat for quite a long time.

But we have not abandoned it. Let us know if you have any feature requests, and we will be releasing a new version in one to two months.
