A lot of people asking for a Codoforum Chat and PM solution. So why not integrate Freichat as a integrated solution in Codoforum?

People can use Freichat as a nice chat solution, but it is also good enough for most community wanted PM features.

So before you have to install Freichat as a extra separate app for Codoforum, why not make it an integral part of Codoforum?

That is our effort with our pmx plugin. For now it simply is a pm plugin but if you actually open the plugin folder and see it is nothing but freichat.

We have just disabled freichat and are building pmx on top of it.

Hi @admin thank you for the information. I was even wondering why the freichat folder is inside the codoforum instalation, now I know why.

The pmx plugin looks so different to Freichat. I first thought the PMX Plugin was just a temporary quick solution to give the CF users a PM feature, but now I have to think twice about it It would be awesome to give the pmx plugin a bit more the look and feal of FC.

Is there a way to enable all the FC features with the PMX plugin?

Well we will be adding all FC features into PMX, FreiChat will act as a framework.
But if you want, you can re-enable FreiChat and use both side by side.
