I installed Community Builder but none of the downloads work...they all say they are missing the XML file?

almost all extensions or software come with a readme file,make sure you read that first and follow the instructions accordingly and if you still have trouble then let us know.
BTW 'freichatx' is not an extension of Community Builder. its a separate program. so you should not install it as you do with other extensions....all installation instructions are provided in the text file.(open the file with a text editor other than notepad)

Hi.. Please help me..
i've read the readme file, but i can't continue install at step 3 configuration check.. i've issue configuration.php is not readable, what sould i do? i already click the modify path but can't continue to the next step..

Simply clicking the modify path wont help , there will be a path shown to your
configuration.php file in your Joomla installed directory ,
make sure the path is correct ,

And there is also video that shows FreiChatX installation for Joomla

hello sir,
Im using joomla1.5.23 so it is compatible only with few plugins of friechat in tat also it has problem with opera in which v receive messages properly but cant replay to messages in the chat box. Please kindly help.
