You guys would really knock my socks off if there was a cb tab which allowed users to do a few things.

1. Disable the chat. I've seen on some websites were half the people love the chat system and the other half do not like chat systems.

2. Perhaps change the template or something like this. This would make sites really community like, if such a cb plugin were made I would be happy to spread the fame of frei chat over on joomlaopolis (communitybuilder) which I'm sure they would love too!

Now I'm patient with this one, but it would be nice to see within the next half year.

In the light version there is a option in the cb tab parameters to disable on the profile (which might be able to apply for general display), perhaps if you copied out some of that code it would make your job easier?

It's a simple addition to the module, but it would be nice if module class suffix's were added to the module parameters. Currently it displays on the page as well, but if the module allowed page suffix I then could put in "-none" which would hide the module from displaying while still having the chat. If I'm not mistaken I think you had this on a older model of freichat.

Hi. It would be very usefull allow admin to set, on the chat settings, set acl rule according to joomla user group (registered, author....) allowing some chat feature as sending files.....

Please you can give online friend module for joomla+jomsocial in your next release (5.0) so whenever user click on online friend photo then chat box open with it just like in facebook.It will be great.

Any chance to include a driver for Mambo?
I know it is superseded by Joomla. But with a small (I think) work is one more option to FreiChatX.
Also, if the custom driver work with cookies, the FreiChatX work in any platform. (Correct me if I wrong).

Manually editing arg.php isn't the best way IMHO....

Right now I am thinking of e.g.
- the busy/offline timeouts (mentioned here)
- the file sending plugin (incl. enable/disable)
- the translation plugin

Very nice extension for Joomla you have here, but would be great if it would allows group chat.
For example, the ability for admins to create private and public chat rooms to chat with several users at once.
