Does Codoforum have a built-in blog feature to have a blog?

Not at the moment and I dont know if it will be developed in the future (maybe).

However, you can create a forum category and turn it into something like a blog. You can set up the user rights so that only administrators and team members can write topics in it and make the category publicly readable. So in the end, it's a little bit like a blog.

Before I install Codoforum ... is it still being actively developed? I don't want to install software that is dying out and will no longer be supported.

It is still being developed so you don't have to worry about support.

I can tell you that the Codologic team is very very diligent and their software has been getting updates for years. If small errors occur, these are even fixed in the shortest possible time (1-2 days). So when it comes to support, the team here is absolutely great.

In many cases, the admin even answers himself, they are very keen to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

You convinced me, downloading and installing now! I was using Flarum (but too many learning curves) and then tried Vanilla, support is slow and not many add ons that are updated.

How do I access the Admin area?

it does not show up when accessing the site on my phone. Also it won’t let me create a new topic here when on my phone.

You can reach the admin desktop with:

https://yourdomain.com/board/admin/index.php

Maybe you have to setup the user rights first to be able to write a topic.

I only use the desktop version and not the mobile version so my experience in this regard is not as good as about the desktop version. Please let me know if it worked or if you need further help - we will be happy to help.
