Recently, so-called spamers have managed to enter our forums and leave their dirt behind.

What ideas do you have to prevent this?

There are multiple options, from for example prohibiting single words via a spam control to a two-way login control.

How much effort would a clean forum be worth to you?

Would you agree to a two-way login system or do you think that your users find the extra effort stupid?

What are your ideas and suggestions?

The fact is in any case - the spamers have to go because they suck

When you say two way login control do you mean using a two factor authentication?

That is certainly ok, but the big disadvantage of such a system is that you can often no longer use useful words. Here in the forum for example is also a word phrase I believe it is (s k i n), if you use this in a word then the system prevents its use even if it is a meaningful word and not spam. So words like a s k i n g are not possible then.

Yes I ment one of these two factor authentication systems the one with SMS or a phone call etc. but most people I know hate it because of the extra effort that you have to make before you are able to login.

That's why I wrote that topic and asked the community here in the forums which system they would prefer for spam protection, but it seems that the interest is not particularly high in this regard - You and I are apparently the only one who wants to get rid of these spamers.
