I wonder if it would work to use the CF API to fetch user images, videos and other files which they already shared within their forum posts and thus create a simple profile media gallery of it?

Hi,

Yes, it should be possible to create such an api as all attachments are mapped in codo_attachments table with the user id.
This would only apply to their uploaded content though and not video links like youtube which they have shared since that content would not be mapped and does not belong to codoforum.

So at least it should be possible to fetch user posted content like images and file/uploads with the help of user Id and codo_attachments command.

Hmm ok I will try to get more familar with the API and how I can create a plugin with it.

Any help from people which know more as myself about PHP, API`s and plugin creation are welcome to help me because I am a noob in that case.

I can do the design and html parts (already did it). The demo design which you can see above is already a static html template. So if we integrate the PHP & API magic we can have some kind of profile gallery
