When I try to change my avatar and click on the change button nothing happens. No error but also no popup to select an image from my pc.

Anyone might know a solution?

The problem can have several reasons:

1.) Did you allow the image mime type in the backend global settings? It should look like this:

image / *, text / plain, audio / mp4, audio / mpeg, application / zip, application / pdf, application / rtf, audio / ogg, video / mp4, video / mpeg,

2.) Has the upload size limit for the avatar upload been exceeded? (Max Upload Size)

3.) If you open the developer console in your browser, do you get any JavaScript errors?

4.) Have You updated Your Codoforum to the latest version?

This is currently how those 2 settings look like.

Regarding the possible errors, while having the developer console open I do not get any errors when clicking the button. I just don't get the upload file at all.

Also I am running CodoForum v4.9 the latest I think.

Unfortunately it didn't work.

Edit Turns out it does not work when I use firefox but it does when I use google chrome. Anyone might know how to also enable this for firefox?

@Smidgeee yeah thats a very good info that You can not use it with FireFox. We have to inform @admin and @adesh about it - I think they have to write a little fix to get it working with FireFox too.

Give em a little bit of time to fix that problem please.
