how to show category on mobile

anyone knows how to show category on home page in mobile phone? I only can see category on right side in desktop.

The categories are visible but it is at the end of the page.
We are thinking of ways to improving this design.

I prefer the positioning on version 3.7 and the category icons...

The icons are still there, but they are only available for category labels.
