API for creating topics and comments

I'm studing the possibility to use this software to create an intranet forum, mostly, topics will be created by another software and other users may read and comment on created topics.

Is there any native API that would allow my software to create and modify topics in this platform?

I saw some topics here about reading topics, seems easy enought, but found nothing about creating.

What do you meany by native API?
Do you mean REST API ?

Yes, something like that.

Something perfect to our needs would be similar to LimeSurvey RemoteControl: http://api.limesurvey.org/classes/remotecontrol_handle.html

A native resource, or REST that would do the CRUD from outside CODOFORUM, respecting it's validations and relationships.
