The message shouldn't be "Topic deleted" ? Just asking...
It's very confusing.
I thought I've done something bad here and I was banned...

Yeah I'll probably be changing the text me in my forum and append "or the topic or user has been deleted or removed"

That was actually a bug, we fixed it now.

It was first checking for permissions then checking if topic exists, changed the order now.
