This might seem like a weird idea but i have a website setup that has codofourm setup in a different directory,

on my index page i have little side bar boxed that show specific info and want to make one that would enable me to login to the forum and use it's DB, after login it will show the users profile pic and post info and such.

is there a way that i can do this i have tried a few way of doing this but am getting no where with it and have searched google but feel this would be the best place to come.

You can just copy the codoforum login form.

The only thing you will need is the csrf token, so you need to generate your own csrf token.

Before that, if you are making this login form for your website, won't it be better to use an existing CMS?

Hi yes it would be a heck of alot easyer but then what do i lean from that ?
