Joomla does not have any friends system by default . Are you using any module or component ?

Yes, we use module. Which files in freichatu to set it only shows online friends (chat and chatroom)?

Are you using any of these :
1. Community Builder
2. Community Builder Extended
3. JomSocial

If yes , then freichat already has friends integration for them . If not , you will have to modify the query in the file
freichat/server/drivers/Joomla.php
