Once a chat starts and the boxes open, the place where you type the message is black so you cannot see what you are typing. Is this a css issue? If so, what is the css for this area called?

Which version of FreiChatX are you using ?

You can change the css in the theme creator in FreiChatX admin
The class for the text area is "chatboxtextarea"

Hello: I am using FreiChatX6.0 for Joomla. I believe I understand where to make changes ("The Dark Back End" of Admin>Parameters>Theme Maker) I was just wondering what css class or name handled that specific area or if I was experiencing a glitch of some sort. Keep in mind the area in question is NOT where the chat is displayed, it is where you type the chat. No idea why it would be black. Thank you for your help.

Hi: I tried to fix this last night a couple of times but it didn't work(I dont think I found the right part of the css rule). Also, FreiChat doesn't quite seem to be real-time- it seems so delayed that people are gone before I can chat with them. Is there a cache adjustment or something. Yes, that has been done. Your Username is "FreiChatAdmin" the temporary password is "freichat1"
