I am trying to get an image to link to a bigger image but the markdown does not seem to work as per;

It looks like the automatic url to image converter is conflicting with markdown.
We will fix this issue.

However, markdown does not support opening links in a new tab.

If you have any suggestions for this, let us know.

After some testing, we found out that the embedding feature was conflicting with the markdown.
We have fixed it in our code base.
