Once a chat starts and the boxes open, the place where you type the message is black so you cannot see what you are typing. Is this a css issue? If so, what is the css for this area called?

i am using elgg and i have enabled avatar at the back-end of the chat but users cant see their personal uploaded avatars all they can see is the default one.

kindly help solve this issue.

hi everyone is there a way i can show the chat bar to only logged in users like facebook does???

I thought in the previous version of Freichat I used I was able to select "real name" of users, the latest version only has "username" and "nick name" - any way that I can select real name?

I want to know that the what are the files load by freichat 5.2.1 on the joomla frontend means i am using joomla 1.6 with jomsocial 2.2.3 joomsocial template & freichat 5.2.1 in template i am using its built in css & js compression currently i have not excluded any file so the chat is not showing correctly but when i disable js compression the chat bar is showing correctly so please tell me what are the files load by freichat s i can exclude it from compression so chat bar is showing correctly .You can see my chat bar currently at http://new.yedels.com

I have a site that i want to include Freichatx but i only have Jomsocial installed and not community builder. Which version should i download to make sure it works properly with all users apart of my jomsocial database?

Secondly I did the installation joomla with jomsocial the module shows perfectly however it shows Guest and not the username of the jomsocial users? Thank You once again :)

Not a big deal, but it seems as though I cannot change my profile picture. Even when I remove it and add a new one it keeps my old one. Perhaps a drulpal error?

Hello. I noticed that i see two modules, one the chat window and another that is freichat standard module. If i don't assign this to any joomla menu i don't see also the chat window. I wish i see only chat window and not the module. How can i do?

i transfered freichat to root folder and when i try to install it ..in LICENCE info When i Press "ACCEPT" .. I again come to LICENCE info .. where again i press ACCEPT and it doesnt go further .. :(

I just download your product today, and I have installed it in local for developpement and tests.
On my localhost server, it's impossible to have real connections: so, it's impossible for me to test FreiChat.
Please, what is te right solution? (ie: a real but demo site ???)
